Sad that this favourite Gold Coast area may soon be out of reach, as the site is being sold for a really nice apartment complex. We had a nice stay, and it's easy to get back to Surfers, head into the hinterland or visit the theme parks from here. Hendo, who handles maintenance and fills in at admin, was helpful with our questions and requests. Thanks for a good visit.

The place was very clean and felt secure, tucked just off the main road. We had no WiFi in the suites, which would have been handy. The kitchen coffee pot was too small at first, but staff quickly brought us a larger one. The pool was nice too.

Even though this was only my second day, the friendly owner and staff already made me feel at home. My wife had been injured on the way to the resort, and the manager went out of their way to find us a ground-floor apartment instead of the third floor, even though all the flats were booked. That made it much easier for her to get around, and they sorted it out in minutes with a smile. The apartments are clean, the bikes are free to hire, and the pool and SPA are kept clean. It's a quiet spot with lovely nature around, and buses and trams nearby make it easy to reach places around the Gold Coast. The staff are warm and really professional. Thanks, Golden Shores ....

The playground across the road kept our granddaughters, aged 7 and 4, busy for hours, and they loved the fantastic pool too. It's a great spot for a holiday with young kids, with some lovely places to eat within walking distance.

The basement game room and lounge turned out to be really comfortable, and the cable channels were good. We’re used to regular housekeeping, but that isn’t offered here. If you arrive before check-in, be prepared to hear the rules before getting much understanding. We enjoyed the pool hot tub on a 69 degree Fahrenheit day. The location is handy for Southport and getting to Surfers Paradise, and the facility itself is good.
