Lismore Wilson Motel

The staff made us feel welcome right from the start. They were super friendly, always glad to help, and gave us great local tips. The rooms were spacious and well equipped, and the location was really handy for everything we wanted to do on holiday. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone staying in or passing through the area.

We stayed over the New Year long weekend, and the rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the air conditioning worked just as it should through the hot summer break. The staff were fantastic, handling everything with warmth and ease. Nothing was a bother. There are plenty of conveniences nearby: the Workers Club is just around the corner, Aldi is a couple of hundred metres down the road, and the service station directly across the road sells a good range of ready-made meals and fresh-cut sandwiches. It's an excellent location for a weekend away. I'd happily stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The Wilson is on a sloping block, with rooms stepping up the hill among garden foliage. It feels like an oasis in a forest. My wife and I stayed recently while travelling to see elderly relatives, and we'd also stayed just after Christmas 12 months ago. Both times, the Wilson was a delightful sojourn. A room should feel homey, inviting and comfortable, and ours did. It was quite large and clean, unlike quite a lot of other motels. The bathroom was generous in size, and the shower was spacious and clean too. The staff are friendly. Next time I'm in Lismore, the Wilson will be my first call.

The room had plenty of space and useful things, and was well air conditioned. The bed was comfortable, and the spa was great. A nice touch was having a toaster and coffee pod machine as well as the kettle, microwave and fridge. The staff were friendly, and the location was handy for takeaway shops and grocery stores.
