The trees around the place were nice, though it’s quite a way from the beach. Inside, it was clean and stylish, but some details need sorting out. With four couples staying, there were only six chairs at the table, and the kitchen was short on basics like platters. Getting to my downstairs bedroom meant going through someone else’s room or outside in the rain. Pleasant stay, but it needs some fine tuning.

The two-bedroom cottage was lovely, with very comfortable, cosy beds. We had plenty for breakfast, including fresh croissants, bread, cereals, yoghurt, milk and juice. We were lucky to get a late checkout, thanks Lesley! It made a great base for our girls’ weekend. We spent a few hours at the Mornington Peninsula hot springs on Friday night, then came back to relax with champagne by the gorgeous fireplace heater. Sorry for setting off the smoke alarms last night with Adriana and the girls. :)
