Mildura Inlander Resort

Room service was a welcome treat, with lots of food options on the menu and nothing over $30. It cost only $5 to have it brought to the room, and the food was good. The bed was very comfortable, finally a king size I could fit in! There was a desk and chairs, microwave, fridge, and an opening onto the pool and tennis court. We even did laundry for free. Staff were friendly, and the bar and restaurant stayed open late. The bathroom fan was physically broken and didn’t work, and the aircon’s white light needed covering so we could sleep in the dark. It might be noisy when busy, since we heard cars leaving in the morning, but we had a great stay.

The Manager Peter was amazing and did a wonderful job looking after us. Terry Lee was wonderful too, and all the staff helped create beautiful memories for my family. We’ve stayed at many resorts across Australia, and this was the absolute best. The customer service was exceptional, and it was the best holiday we’ve had in a very long time. I’ve booked for next New Year because I know it’ll be a wonderful holiday. Thank you so much. Buket

Our one bedroom apartment was very spacious, with a huge bathroom and plenty of bench space, but it needs a refurbishment and felt overpriced. There was a musty smell throughout, as if the carpets, curtains and fabric lounge hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Some parts of the shower screen had black mould. The open bins were unsuitable for kitchen waste and feminine hygiene products, lids would help. There was no cutting board, just one dessert spoon and no wine glasses, which seems odd in one of the largest wine regions. One of us had to eat cereal with a teaspoon. The cooktop needs attention. When we arrived, the fridge was leaking all over the floor. There was no dishcloth, so I used a tea towel to mop it up and wrung it out several times. A lovely receptionist found towels and a face washer for us to use as a dishcloth.

The room was okay for cleanliness, but the blinds left a gap of about 20cm and there was no sheer curtain. Since my room overlooked the stairs to the upstairs rooms, everyone going up or down could see in. Worse, there was no hot water. My shower at 5pm was okay because I was hot after arriving, but having a cold shower at 5am was uncomfortable. I wouldn’t book here again if I were going to Mildura.
