The pool has a spa, and the staff are very friendly. Rooms in the rear wing are quiet and set back from the noisy main road. It's a green, peaceful spot near a creek, with shops and a pub only a short walk away. Rooms are large and modern, well equipped with a mini bar, and have a private patio at the back. It's popular, though, so book well ahead.

Flooding left us stuck in Miles, but the Swagsman was a silver lining. The accommodation was very comfortable and the service was exceptional. Candice especially was fantastic and made our stay a real pleasure.

I was driving back from Sydney with my 8 year old grandchild after major surgery, and Google maps added two hours to an already long trip. By midnight I was vomiting and feeling really sick. In Miles, all the motels along the main strip had no vacancy signs, so I pulled into the Swagsman motel. They got up at midnight in the freezing cold and gave us a bed. The room was gorgeous, with the biggest, softest bed I've ever seen and a spacious spa. It was very clean too. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being an oasis in my storm.

The room was excellent, and Valerie gave us phenomenal help when car trouble left us stuck. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Swagsman to anyone. Thank you so much. I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

The family room was fantastic, with plenty of space and comfortable beds. The bathroom worked well for people in wheelchairs, with handrails in the shower and by the toilet. The pool and BBQ area were right outside. Booking in was easy, the staff were lovely, and we'd stay again.
