I was in town for a friend’s wedding and spent two nights here. The bedroom at the back of the house was so quiet, and I got some of the best sleep I’ve had all year. The room was tastefully decorated too, and the owner was easygoing and impressively well-dressed, a fun detail that added to the charm. Breakfast was a lovely continental spread with fresh fruit and a perfectly flaky croissant. It made for a wonderful stay and a brilliant weekend base around Mittagong/Bowral.

The garden and verandah are lovely, with native birds all around, and there are fabulous paintings covering just about every bit of wall space. Shane and Alyse were wonderful hosts, happy to help with anything. I only stayed one night and wished I could have stayed longer. This is a proper B'n'B, not an air B'n'B. My room was spotless and cosy, with everything I could think of needing. The sunny breakfast room and kitchen look out over a pretty courtyard. Tea and coffee were available day and night, and there were even homemade cupcakes for afternoon tea. Breakfast was substantial too, with juice, cereals, yoghurt, several breads for toast, and a special treat.

We spent a relaxing night away in a spotless room, with a king bed that was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was light but tasty and filling, and we got some beautiful garden and bird photos. We’d definitely stay again.

For a weekend away, we stayed one night and were really happy with it. The owners were friendly and welcoming, the rooms were comfortable, and the garden was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious too, especially the Eggs Cocotte.

“Quirky and peaceful” fits it well. There are lots of artistic touches in this lovely, calm space, and the hosts and breakfast were wonderful. Everything we needed for a really comfy stay was there. Highly recommend 👍
