We’re travelling around on our bikes, and this older place has been a pretty good stop. The room was tidy and very clean, with air con, a TV, shampoo and the other basics. The bed was a bit firm. The bloke at reception was friendly, and Mossman pub is only about 100 metres around the corner. There’s also a brand new bowls club nearby with everything there. All in all, pretty OK.

I stayed at Demi View twice, with two years between visits, and the second time was a real disappointment. The lovely bushes that used to be there had been cut right down, and I overheard the managers complaining about small, trivial things. Hopefully the next managers, perhaps younger ones, will make the garden lovely again. Otherwise, I won’t stay there again.

The staff were amazing, and the place was very clean. We had an excellent stay. Do yourself a favour and give this place a try, it’s great.

We were only there briefly to catch up with friends, and Demi View was a comfortable, convenient base. It’s been a while since our last stay in 1998, and we could see that upgrades have been done, with more underway. The en suite was clean and had a good shower, and our room was comfortable and very clean. Karen and her team made us feel welcome, and the well-stocked communal area was handy. Keep it up!

The manager and staff were friendly and helpful, and both the pool and communal area were nice and clean. Our room was spacious, clean, and had all the things you’d expect in a motel. But at night we had lots of cockroaches visit, even though we’d put all our food in the fridge. That was pretty disgusting.
