Valley Views Motel & Chalets

Parth opened the office late and got us a room straight away, which was incredibly kind. We’d limped into Mt Barker at 8.30 pm after a caravan blowout and being diverted around the terrible fires yesterday. The room was a delightful surprise, clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a hot shower, comfy bed, aircon, tv, and coffee. Just what we needed after hours on the road. The gardens are beautiful too. We’ll absolutely be back. Thank you, Parth 😎

The chalet was a little old but spotless, and we were very happy we came. The grounds are wonderful, especially the carefully tended rose garden. That little veranda was a lovely extra for an afternoon beer.

We had two little children with us on the way to Bremer Bay and stayed in the Family room near the end of the accommodation, where the parking space was wide. Our camper trailer, Thule roof pod, and boards on top of the 4wd all fit without trouble, and we could get through reception and the driveway easily. The room was really clean, and ABC kids kept the children busy while we repacked. It had a mini fridge, microwave, kettle, instant coffees, sugars, teas, mugs and glasses, plus a small box of milk and a bottle of water. Towels, soap, and a hair dryer were provided. There were two single beds at the front and a queen in the ensuite part, along with two tvs. The only downside is being out of town on Albany Highway, so you’ll need takeaway or a drive into town for food.

A really nice place to stay, especially the chalets. The staff were friendly, the gardens were nice, and the rooms were clean. Towels and the other basics were generous too. Five stars.
