There was some morning noise from the semi-industrial area, though it wasn’t unbearable. We stayed for a week, and the apartment had everything you could imagine needing away from home. The hosts also dealt promptly with maintenance during our stay. My main complaint was that it needed a proper spring clean: there was noticeable dust and cobwebs, plus a few dirty dishes in the cupboard. The bed quilts also seemed like winter weight and were much too hot for summer.

The private courtyards and lock-up garages are a nice feature, and the street is quiet. These apartments were renovated in 2021, with new carpet and appliances and 75 inch TVs. The large washing machine and clothes dryer are great for keeping up with family washing.

The mattresses weren’t firm enough for me, and I woke with a backache every morning. They probably need replacing with firmer ones. The cutlery needs an update too. The TV was defective, but they swapped it for another one, and it was fine after that.

The WiFi was very unreliable. Otherwise, it was excellent accommodation on a quiet street, just a short drive from the main street of Mount Gambier.

It was a bit old and hard to find. The heater was broken, and one of the lamp heaters in the restroom didn’t work.
