Burke and Wills Mt Isa Motel

A safe, good place to stay, and the rooms have plenty of space. The bathroom had a strange smell, though.

We slept really well, even with the motel on a main road, since there was hardly any noise. The staff were lovely and the rooms clean and modern. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed four nights and appreciated the locked gates, as well as the motel’s central location. Our room was serviced daily and done up very nicely, with fresh bottled water left in the fridge each day. The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was great. Service was excellent throughout. They responded promptly to requests and were polite, friendly, and accommodating. We left before office hours, so I didn’t get to thank them in person for making our stay so enjoyable. We’d definitely come back. Thank you 😊👍🏻

Therese gave us great tips on local places and getting around. She’s a wonderful manager and person, and made sure I had a lovely stay at the Burke and Wills Motel. The rooms are big, with plenty of space and clean, well-kept facilities. The microwave, kettle, and A/C all worked perfectly. I loved the comfortable bed and pillows, strong water pressure, and the bathtub. Margo and Nick did a brilliant job cleaning every day, always smiling and paying attention to the details. They even vacuumed up the crumbs I dropped and cleaned all the benches and counters. It was so nice to come back to a clean room. Thanks, everyone at Butke and Wills. See you next time we’re in Mt Isa!
