I felt safe travelling alone, with locked onsite parking and the entrance doors locking automatically overnight. The pool was a great spot on hot days, and the central location made getting around easy. Housekeeping gave my room a proper deep clean, and everyone I dealt with was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast worked really well for me: cereal, fruit, nuts, pastries, bread, yoghurt and milk, plus a good coffee machine and ready-made toasties if I wanted something hot. It was easy to grab food and go when I was running late. One small snag, I couldn't AirDrop or mirror my screen to the TV. Might just be my damn iPhone 😂. One of the best hotels I've stayed at on work trips around rural QLD.

My partner works for Accor, so most of my membership points end up in her account and I booked a basic room. The TV had a problem, and the staff tried hard to sort it out before eventually moving me to a better room. The upgrade wasn't what impressed me, though. It was how helpful and personable everyone was, from reception to the restaurant and bar staff.

I was here for two nights on a work trip. The cafes and restaurants within a block were easy to reach on foot, and the hotel room and amenities suited a short stay. I also noticed the eco-friendly touches, even the rubbish bins had no liners. Well done.

The front desk and housekeeping staff made sure my day stay went well, and the location is right in the centre. The rooms are really spacious too.

Nothing was bad about the stay. The restaurant was good, probably the best in town, and I could park on the street right outside the hotel. The room was a bit dated, especially the bathroom, which could use a refresh. I've stayed at some ibis styles overseas and most felt more modern. I'd also prefer a king bed or two singles over a queen.
