I booked five nights for $858 during Rodeo week on 24th March. It took John 3.5 months to discover the room was supposedly double booked, then he called today, three weeks before the rodeo, and said bad luck, you're out. He blamed Booking.com, saying it didn't roll over bookings after the business changed hands in March. BULLSHIT! The profile is still the same, and Booking.com did roll over bookings. I bet he got a better offer. NEVER book here unless you want to risk having nowhere to stay, especially during Rodeo week 😡😡😡😡

Shirley and Doc are really nice people and can't do enough to make your stay comfortable. The self contained cabins are really nice, and there's a great BBQ area. It's in a great spot, close to everything you need in town. I'd recommend it to anyone passing through Mt Isa.

Jenny, the manager, couldn't have been more helpful. The place is a little gem in the middle of Mount Isa, a lovely surprise close to everything. We had a comfortable bed with Sheridan sheets, and the room was spotlessly clean and well equipped, including a full sized fridge /freezer. Thank you for a great stay.

Shirley looked after my crew of four from Townsville so well. It's an awesome place to stay, close to everything, and the decent folks here really care about their clients and their stay. I forgot to take the cupcakes baked for me and left outside my door. I 100 percent recommend this place to everyone coming to Mt Isa. Many thanks Shirley…. Richard.

It's my first choice when I stay in Mt Isa. The motel is great and quiet, with very friendly staff and a convenient location. Newsagency, Bakery, Woolworths, Hospital, hotels, cafes and restaurants are all within walking distance, and the Shopping Centre area is a short drive away.
