We were starving after finding everything closed, but they still put together a meal for us even though the kitchen had shut. We really appreciated that old-school hospitality. The room was spotless and updated, and the beds were comfortable. Just what we needed for an overnight reset. Thank you.

The scrambled eggs at breakfast were good, but I wouldn’t recommend eating here in the evening. I was on a recent business trip and ordered steak through room service, asking for it medium-well. It arrived badly overcooked, to the point that half was inedible. The sauce helped add some moisture. The room itself was a good size.

Our trip home got thrown into chaos by the recent flooding. With roads closed and accommodation booked out, we backtracked and called to see if there was a room. Luckily, they had one family room available. The staff were warm, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. Our room was one of the cleanest I’ve stayed in. We ordered food as an easy option and were so glad we did. The steak was cooked perfectly, the calamari was delicious, and the salad was really fresh. We cleared our plates. It’s a lovely, peaceful area, and we’re happy our plans were interrupted so we had the chance to stay here.

The owners were courteous, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. When we got back late from work, they kept the restaurant open longer, and they arranged an earlier breakfast for us too. Our room was tidy and clean, with a powerful shower. The restaurant served great home-cooked food in generous portions. I’ll definitely stay again when I’m back for work.
