The room was clean, well looked after, and had everything I needed. The heating worked perfectly, and it was quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. Deb was friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived, and the customer service was so helpful. Great value for the money. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it if you’re after quality on a budget.

We enjoyed a meal at the hotel’s Indian restaurant and loved our stay at the Hermitage. Debbie was so welcoming and accommodating, and her friendly smile and lovely personality made it even better. We’ll be back, Debbie!!

After about seven hours riding motorcycles, this was a very welcome place to stop. Deb’s lovely service is why I gave it five stars. The room wasn’t modern, but it was clean and comfortable, and the beds were great. Thank you, Deb. :-) I hit a kangaroo at 100km/h on the way.

My sister chose this hotel because it was close to the venue we were going to, and she said the receptionist was lovely. Room 25 wasn’t great, though. The main bed was comfortable, but one single bed by the ensuite was hard and the other felt like it sloped. The shower was cold and took far too long to warm up, and the toilet wouldn’t flush properly. Maybe the other rooms are better.

Reception was unattended even when I checked in at 4pm on Saturday, and the phone there didn’t work. That’s why I’d give the service zero stars. From check-in to checkout, every little thing turned into a drama. When a problem came up, the receptionist seemed overwhelmed and couldn’t make a decision or fix it. I was told to try another room and call if there was a problem, but she said she’d lock her door and I wasn’t allowed to knock. The room was clean, but run down. Never again. Save your money and go elsewhere.
