From the porch, I looked out over the valley while sheep and alpacas grazed. The gardens were lovely and well cared for, with roses and enormous succulents. I made lunch and breakfast in the cosy, well-equipped kitchen using produce I’d bought at the markets. Everything I needed was there, from salt, pepper, and coffee to the thoughtfully placed toiletries. I stayed in the studio cottage on a solo getaway and found it clean, private, and tastefully decorated, with a breathtaking view. The bed was comfortable, the bedding was lovely, and I slept well. Hearing the rooster while sipping coffee in the morning was pretty quaint. Julie and Rob were very kind and welcoming. I enjoyed walking around the property and watching the animals, including the chickens. There are shops nearby for what you need, and a beautifully maintained bike trail runs for over 13 km through forest, birds, and rolling hills. The price was very reasonable, and this was the best property of the ones I researched. We’ll be back!

The peaceful atmosphere and views were just what we needed for my daughter’s wedding. We rented all the buildings, and it was beautiful. We’ll definitely stay again.

I had breakfast and dinner on the garden patio, looking out over the hills, and enjoyed seeing what there was to do and visit locally. I stayed in the cottage for a solo retreat, and the accommodation was wonderful, really cosy with a fire. The view from the loft bedroom was incredible. I’ll definitely stay here again!

Vivere was exactly the wholesome, relaxing weekend away I’d hoped for, just over an hour outside Melbourne. The place was stunning, with beautiful views and friendly owners. They even sent us home with tomatoes from the garden. I had the best staycation and will be back!

The studio was beautifully presented and had everything I could need for a comfortable stay. The views were incredible, and there are lots of lovely day trips around the region. I booked through Wotif and arrived within 10 minutes of booking. Julie greeted me warmly and showed me around her beautiful gardens. There is some traffic noise during the day, and the dogs bark occasionally, but it’s quiet at night. I’d definitely recommend it and will visit again.
