Capricorn Village

The bar and grill staff, and the reception team, were both friendly and the service was great. The food was awesome, especially the tomahawk. For a one night stay, the room suited me well, although the shower pressure was disappointing.

Dinner, breakfast and a takeaway lunch for the next day's journey are included in the overnight fee, and all three meals were good. The rooms and dining room facilities were very good too, with a warm welcome at reception. It’s a terrific place to stop overnight. My only possible concern is that the rear car park could use more lighting for security.

The sports facilities were the biggest surprise: cricket, golf, tennis, boxing, and a great gym with quality weights and equipment that was super hygienic. There’s clear signage around the place, and the laundry has plenty of free washers and dryers. We stayed two nights, and the room had everything we needed, from a comfy clean bed and air con to a TV, fridge, kettle, and good water pressure. The staff were so friendly, and the Capricorn bar and grill is right next door. Thanks to everyone, especially Isaac for being so accommodating. Highly recommend Capricorn Village.

The staff are always friendly, though sometimes difficult to understand. The showers are good, but cleanliness is only average and they need a proper deep clean. One washer and one dryer were out of order, and not all the truck diesel pumps were working. Stock also seemed low.
