The Greenroof

We popped into the Greenroof Pub today just to use the bathroom. The staff were polite and friendly, and even asked whether we were staying for lunch. We'd already eaten, and we'd never been in the pub before. It was very quiet inside. The music was louder in the hallway outside the bathrooms, but otherwise I think we might come back and try the food for lunch sometime.

Possibly the best value pub meal I've had, and it was gluten-free. It came out quickly and tasted fresh, with plenty of gluten-free choices on the menu. The place was cool and comfortable on a hot day. It was busy, with lots of sports TVs and people watching the races, but that suited the vibe. Everyone was really nice. I didn't stay at the hotel, but they kindly stored my luggage for me.

The Green Roof has spacious seating, plenty of outdoor and undercover areas, off-street parking, and it's close to public transport. The toilets were clean, the service friendly, and the fresh food was really good. They also have lunchtime specials. A gem of a local pub, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Huge shout-out to Jake and Evan for making every visit such a good experience. They're consistently friendly, attentive, and go out of their way to make customers feel welcome. Jake brings great energy and professionalism, and Evan really stands out for his care and attention to detail. Highly recommended!
