The lamb at On The Bay was the best meal I’ve ever had, and I’m 51, so I’ve eaten plenty! The staff were excellent across the board. We spent three magnificent nights in a deluxe spa room, which was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. On The Bay restaurant was fabulous too.

We loved the view of Stewart's Bay from the deck of our spacious cabin, tucked back in the woods. Both bedrooms were large, and the full bathroom felt luxurious, especially the walk-in shower. The half bath had a toilet but no sink. One thing we wish we’d known: the restaurant was fully booked when we arrived, and we couldn’t get a table, so make a reservation ahead of time. I highly recommend the property.

Dinner at On the Bay was tasty, with great service and a lovely view, though it wasn’t the best food I’ve had. We stayed in a water-view Spa cabin, a comfortable, clean, tidy place with plenty of space for two to recharge after driving and hiking. Ending the day in the spa bath overlooking the water was great. No complaints about the cabin.

We enjoyed a glass of wine and some reading on the balcony, which caught the sun at the end of the day. The comfortable, warm accommodation worked well for our two families travelling together. Stewarts Bay Lodge sits in beautiful bushland, with echnidas wandering around, and gives direct access to Stewarts Bay and the Port Arthur Historic Site. The amenities were nice, and On the Bay Restaurant on site was great too.

Everybody loved the beach wedding at this beautiful spot. We held my son’s wedding here recently, and it was wonderful. The restaurant was fab, with excellent food and service.
