A hidden gem with very spacious rooms and everything we needed, including a full kitchenette and laundry room. We didn't get to try the room pool, but it looked like fun. Shaded parking and good WiFi were welcome too. My only suggestion would be to replace the tiny shampoo bottles with refillable containers for shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion, and soap.

Aidan was incredibly helpful with the accommodation and our stay, and especially with local tips: things to do and when, tour bookings and discount codes, plus lending us books and useful items. For a visit around Port Douglas and the Daintree rainforest, this seems like an easy choice for a solid base. The room was great value for the quality and convenience, with basic kitchen gear and a very nice bathroom. Even the small heated pool was a nice extra for a dip or a few laps after sunset.

The birdlife around the property was beautiful, and the stay far exceeded what I expected from a “motor inn”. Our room was comfortable, clean, and convenient, with a porch and sliding glass doors. The front desk staff, who may have been the owner, were helpful and accommodating. I'd love to stay longer or come back.

Everything we needed was close at hand, and the place was clean and presentable for a quick overnight before catching the reef boats at dawn. There's a nice pool for a cool swim, plus two chairs and a small table outside the door where you can catch the breeze and enjoy the quiet. The shops are a fair walk away, but backpackers in the complex a few doors down manage it, so you can too. Perfect for our short stay.

A beautiful motel, with quiet, spacious, comfortable rooms. The walk into town is close and interesting, with lovely restaurants along the way. Management were extremely helpful with activity planning and useful information. Perfect 👌
