The view and the spa were the only parts we enjoyed. We spent three nights in a Spa Chalet after getting a deal through a TV auction, and I’m very glad we didn’t pay full price. The place looked nothing like the website photos, which seem to be from when it was better cared for. Outside, weeds and dead plants around the garden beds and entrance made it feel neglected from the moment we arrived. Inside wasn’t clean either: there were dead blowflies and bugs behind the microwave, mould on the windows, dried spills in the fridge and freezer, and a crusty used scourer with dishwashing liquid that wouldn’t lather. The bathroom was especially bad. For the nightly price, the lack of care and attention was really disappointing. We won’t come back or recommend it.

We’d happily stay here again. The man at the office was very nice, and the view from our window was great. Our motel room was simple but comfortable and warm, with a good shower. It was right beside the common room, where there was a fireplace, kitchen, dining tables, pool table and TV. We stayed two nights, from Friday 26-7-24 until 28-7-24. It was budget friendly, and next time we might try a cubby cabin or a regular cabin.

The free Easter weekend activities were a big part of what made our stay so enjoyable. There were 4WD tours, dog tricks, rocket making and billy-cart rides for adults and kids, and we loved them all. The volunteers were really nice, and we enjoyed exploring the property too. We stayed in the “family chalet”; it was clean and reasonably priced. Booking was pleasant, and the manager kindly let us know about a cancellation so we could move closer to our friends. We’d definitely come back. Thanks for a great weekend!

The campground was a lovely, scenic place to spend Easter with the family. The facilities were good and everything was well serviced, and the Easter activities kept us busy with lots of fun. I’d definitely recommend it.

We had a lovely stay. The place was amazing, and the owners were lovely too.
