Tamar River Villas

The location was pretty central, and having a Vietnamese restaurant directly across the road was useful after a long day of driving when we didn't want to get back in the car. Parking right in front of the room was convenient, and check-in and checkout were simple even though we arrived after hours. For the rate, the room was spacious, with a good-sized separate kitchen and a large shower and toilet. Cleanliness could have been a little better.

The water view from upstairs was lovely, and I was surprised at how new the carpet and bathroom looked. The shared space was comfortable and roomy. Although the place is between two busy roads, I didn't have any trouble with noise. I was very pleased with the accommodation.

We had a nice three-night stay. Everything was clean and spacious, and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. Since we were travelling as a group and had booked two rooms, it would've been good to have them near each other. Instead, we were placed at opposite ends of the motel. Thanks for a pleasant stay!

The meals at the on-site Riverview restaurant were very good. Guests can order takeaway and get 10% off, and staff will take the order and bring it to the room. That's a handy perk that isn't publicised much. We stayed in a family room with a spacious living area, though in the room with two single beds the power outlet was behind a bed, so we had to move it to reach the socket. The accommodation is just outside town near a Woolworths. Being right on the main road is handy, but there's a small blind spot when pulling out, so take care.
