Meet, the manager, was so polite and helpful, and the staff are friendly too. The rooms are clean and comfortable, parking is terrific, and the restaurant food is absolutely wonderful. I can’t think of a better place to have a drink in summer. Love staying at Best Western Cattle City Motor Inn. You couldn’t ask for better service. Outstanding! I’ll stay again and again.

I especially liked the comfortable mattresses and the swimming pool. The rooms are cozy, the outdoor areas have plenty of shaded parking, and the staff are lovely. It’s convenient and pocket friendly, with great food at the in-house restaurant and renovated toilets and bathrooms. There’s plenty more to like. I highly recommend it if you’re planning to stop over or visit Rockhampton.

Gladstone Road is a major thoroughfare with a fair amount of traffic, so the location does come with road noise. It’s close to Rockhampton CBD and gives easy access to the arterials for North Rockhampton. The room was neat and tidy, and the bed very comfortable, but the bath towel shredded the first time I used it, after being washed and dried too many times. The fridge was askew because a leg was missing or broken, and the toilet kept running after flushing. Those issues are fixable. On a 35 degree day, it would have helped to have the air con on before I arrived.

It’s a little out of the way, but fine if you have a vehicle. We had a great stay in a large, clean, comfortable room with everything we needed. The hosts were excellent, and the restaurant served fantastic food. Thank you.

Qantas put me up here after my flight was cancelled, and I had a great experience. The staff were lovely, and the rooms were comfortable enough. Good for a budget hotel.
