Winter Sun Motel

We stayed in 32 places around Australia, and this was the best. It had a toaster, microwave, fridge, and pretty good Wi-Fi, plus undercover parking. Complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits too. Totally 💯 awesome.

We booked a room with two queen beds after calling around and finding the other motels full. We were pleasantly surprised by how roomy, lovely, and clean it was. There was plenty of space in the shower, and everything we needed for a good night’s rest. The undercover parking was great, and the place felt secure. The woman at reception was pleasant and helpful. We’ll definitely stay again.

We travel a lot and have stayed in plenty of motels, but this one is by far the best. The new owners are awesome and always happy to stop for a chat. The place is very clean, which matters most to us. The utensils were clean, the beds had no stains, and the shiny tiles were a welcome change from stinky carpet. There’s a full-size fridge, not needed for one night but great if you’re staying a few days. I can’t praise the motel and owners enough. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you.

For the price, this was a bargain. I stayed one night for work, and the lovely woman at the desk was a pleasure to talk to. You can easily walk to the Glenmore tavern for a top meal. It’s right by the highway, but was still pretty quiet.
