We wanted a farm or cottage feel near the Hunter Valley vineyards, somewhere smaller than the big, well-known places, and this one was just what we had in mind. The owner greeted us with a big, welcoming smile and was very courteous. After settling into our cottage, we went to the management residence for ideas on where to begin exploring the Hunter Valley. The advice was knowledgeable, pleasant, and informative. We had a fun weekend. Shame we had to head back to Sydney, I could've stayed here indefinitely. Good job.
