Gina at Bondi Beach Holiday Homes was a huge help during our stay. She helped us sort out a couple of problems and even sent someone to help with the TV remote after we accidentally changed the settings. The unit was spacious and comfortable for four adults, with a beautiful wraparound private patio. It was about two blocks from Bondi beach, near lots of shops and restaurants, so morning swims and late dinners were easy. Having private parking made coming and going worry-free. We loved every minute, thanks to the lovely unit and Gina's help.

The location is great, but dealing with management was deeply frustrating. Our group had only two key cards, while the other guests were more than 90 minutes away in the Blue Mountains, so we needed a quick fix. Gina, the local host, won't take calls and communicates only by text. Her slow, robotic-sounding replies made what could have been a five-minute call drag into over an hour of messages just to confirm a spare key could be delivered. Airbnb support had to step in. After we raised the issue, a retaliatory review with false claims was posted about us. That felt petty. If something goes wrong, don't expect anyone to pick up the phone. Good location aside, reliable communication and professional problem-solving weren't part of our experience.
