St. Marys Park View Motel

This little motel is a gem, with Wagon wheel hotel and Band club RSL right next door. The rooms are clean and come with a toaster, kettle, cutlery, bowls, small plates, wine glasses, tea, coffee, and milk. There’s also a lovely clean pool, plus outdoor tables and chairs for the lower ground rooms. I did hear a bit of noise, but I had the sliding door open and the screen door locked to get some fresh air. I felt safe doing that.

The staff were warm and quick to answer questions, and the location was quiet and convenient after a long day. My room was spotless and well kept, with a cozy bed and AC that worked perfectly. Everything I needed was there. It was a comfortable stay for the price, and I’d happily come back or recommend it to anyone after somewhere clean and affordable.

We were in town for the Richmond air show, and it was only a short drive away. Supermarkets and pubs/clubs for tea were also an easy walk. The rooms are dated, but very clean, which is all you can ask for, and the balconies get lovely sun. It was a bit noisy at night, though I felt safe and the car was secure. The lady who helped on the phone when I booked was lovely. I’m usually nervous booking accommodation in interstate cities, but we had a great time and I’d stay again.

The pool is a relaxing spot, and it’s nice and deep. The rooms are very clean and bigger than average. All through my five day stay, the staff were pleasant and accommodating, from before I arrived to the end. The pub next door serves good food and feels more like a bistro.
