I was here for five nights on a business trip, and it was very nice. The big, comfy bed was a real plus, and the rooms were kept clean with regular servicing. The bathroom was dated but clean and functional, and some fixtures and fittings are showing their age.

The shower pressure was amazing, especially for an older hotel. My partner and I found the rooms clean, with updated furnishings, and reception and management were incredibly helpful. They gave us a detailed rundown of local dining options. We’ll stay here again when we’re back in town.

There was a smell in the room, and the bathroom was small. The toilet dripped all night, someone’s smelly clothes were left in the closet, and the microwave was dirty. All the surfaces felt sticky and the lighting was very dull. Parking is inadequate for a motel with an attached restaurant. We had to park on the other side of the car park, away from our room.

I’ll stay again if I’m in Taree. The buffet breakfast is excellent value, and the staff were very helpful. My room was clean, comfortable and particularly quiet, set back from the road, with quiet aircon too. Highly recommended.

The owners are genuinely nice people, and it’s a really nice motel. My partner and I had just come out of hospital and were waiting for a bus, and they let us stay in a room for the day. Thanks, we’ll definitely come back if we’re ever in Taree.
