The hosts are wonderful and have thought of everything. Sharlynn makes an ideal base for exploring the Tablelands, or just having a quiet retreat to switch off and enjoy nature. The cabin sits in the rainforest, and we could have spent days on the deck listening to the running water and birds. Waking up to the Eastern Whipbird’s distinctive song was something else. We were lucky enough to see a Tree Kangaroo during our stay, and the river and swimming hole are just divine.

A comfortable, clean and private place by the river, with lots of thoughtful touches. The breakfast spread was generous enough to last for several meals. I’d highly recommend it.

Pam & John take care of every detail, from luxurious food and local produce to everything you could possibly need. The accommodation is beautifully furnished with quality pieces in a gorgeous setting, and the property is immaculately clean. Sharlynn by the River made for an amazing stay. It’s a high quality place, and I highly recommend it for a future visit.

We spent three nights in this secluded tropical spot and could easily have stayed a week. It’s a real gem, with all the comforts you need for time in the Tablelands and great hosts. We were very comfortable.

The cottage is lovely and roomy, with lots of light and wood throughout. We were welcomed with homemade muffins and tasty local breakfast foods, and they even had port for a nightcap. We could hear the river below and spotted tree kangaroo droppings, which is the next best thing to seeing one!
