We stayed with our 15ft van on what seemed to be a brand new double faux grass mat, only metres from the water. That was a blessing on a 40+ day. The staff were fantastic, and the site is close to town and the silo light show. A great place to stay while exploring Wallaroo, Moonta and Kadina. Highly recommend.

We stayed in a ground floor, two bedroom beachfront apartment and couldn’t fault it. It was clean, modern and blissfully quiet, with a roomy lounge, dining table, settee and large wall mounted TV. The main bedroom had a queen size double bed and an ensuite with wash basin, shower and toilet. The second bedroom’s two single bunk beds would suit a young family, and there was another bathroom with a wash basin, toilet and shower. The kitchen was well appointed, with a modern gas stove, fridge and microwave oven. Sliding doors opened onto a patio with a dining table overlooking the beach, perfect for supper and a few G&T’s. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite. Five stars all round, and we’ll definitely be back. Well done, folks, 10/10.

We recently returned for two nights on a powered site, our second visit. The park seems to suit groups of mature couples getting together for time away, and although it caters for families, there aren’t activities to keep children entertained. From the park it’s a short walk to the beach, neighbouring cafe and bakery. We walked to the local hotel each night for happy hour, and the shopping Centre is just up the road. We could see the silo art show from our campsite at night. The only downside is that the park doesn’t really need its own dump site.

Miranda and her team are the biggest asset here. We’ve stayed every 6 months for the past 3 years, and Miranda always has a smile and makes everything feel easy. The rooms are consistently clean and tidy, and the view is amazing. Everything’s close by: town and the pubs are a short walk away, the bakery is around the corner and fabulous coffee is just a stroll away. This is the best place to stay on the Yorke Peninsula. Looking forward to coming back.

The upstairs King George cabin felt more like a beach apartment. It was clean and comfortable for our family, with a modern queen bed and ensuite, four bunks and a separate bathroom, plus a large kitchen, dining area and lounge. The balcony has absolute beachfront views, and you can watch the kids on the well maintained grass out front or on the beach. The cafe by the jetty is lovely, and the Bischoff pancakes fed three of us. The grounds are very well maintained and not overly big. We’ll be back!
