Taralee Orchards

The cauliflower mustard relish we bought was so good, we ate it with total enthusiasm. My brother and I loved Ruby Cottage's homey feel and the view. The crisp air from the surrounding forest and the brilliant night sky are things we'll really miss. Taralee Orchard is a beautiful place to stay, even though it's a little off the beaten track. We highly recommend it.

The farm is stunning, and the woman who served us was so friendly. It was a lovely drive and well worth the trip. They have lovely fruit and vegetables available when they're in season.

This was our third visit to this lovely, quiet spot near Wirrabara. We spent four nights here over Christmas and loved watching the variety of birds, especially the tiny wrens and finches playing in the shrubs beside the decking. The bed is super comfortable and the shower gets nice and hot. There's a beautiful walk through the forest very close by, and the picnic ground is ideal for a meal outside or for kids to run around.

Our children are enjoying walks through the orchards and spending time with the animals. The owners made us feel very welcome, and the cottage is lovely, clean, and has everything you could need. What a beautiful, peaceful country spot. We're so glad we found it, and the fresh fruit and produce are delicious!
