The large upstairs balcony and nice view over the river were highlights, along with decent air conditioning in the main living area. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at "Gone Surfing", one of the 4 apartments at the Wooli Holiday Units. It was clean and comfortable, had everything we needed, and was in a quiet, peaceful location.

There’s plenty around this beautiful, central spot: the local bowling club for dinner, and the fishing co-op 3 doors away for keen fishers. You can hire boats, and there are paddle boards at the unit. Beach access is only a 5 minute walk, and watching dolphins on our morning walk was lovely. I have 4 teen kids and it was wonderful for us. Perfect location, highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be coming back.

The boat ramp is nearby, where we caught a boat to cross the Wooli River and continue our Yuraygir Coastal Walk. The unit is also close to the Bowls Club for drinks and dinner with friendly locals. It’s a lovely, cool, spacious, comfortable 2br unit just across the road from the river. The owners were very responsive, and not having the list of ‘rules’ we seem to get in most places added to the relaxed feel.

Private, quiet, and luxurious, this beautiful apartment had everything we needed. It’s in a great location and perfect for families. We’ll be back!

The unit had plenty of room and felt fairly private, even though it’s one of four. Families get an easy setup here, with fishing out front and the beach just behind. Good value for the money, and especially handy for a bigger family.
