We brought our dog, so we ate in the outdoor dining area. It was quiet and pleasant, and we really enjoyed our meal. The food was delicious and the service outstanding. We'll definitely make this our regular place to dine.

I tried a meat lovers parmi here for lunch a couple of weeks back. It tasted good, though the BBQ sauce came through a bit too strongly. The extra meat wasn't really worth the upgrade price, so next time I'd just get the standard parmi. I'd visit again.

Natalie, who seemed to be in charge, was a fantastic worker and only too happy to help. The town felt deserted, so I can see it must be hard to bring in enough money for maintenance. This seemed to be the best venue in York, since other places lacked a restaurant and some didn't even have a bar. The room itself was very dated, though, with a filthy window and a three-star feel. When I reported there was no hair dryer, I was told it must have been broken and that another would be put in, but it never arrived. Four stars from me.

The beds were so comfortable, and the bar service was excellent. We enjoyed the food too, with very generous meal sizes. It's a lovely place right in the middle of town, and we'll definitely stay again when we're back in York.

The room was great, even though the carpet was old. Service was amazing, especially from the brunette with curls. Exceptional service.
