The hotel was spacious, and our room was clean. The location was really good, close to Nizami street. Aydin at the front desk was especially helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate us because our flight was in the evening. Thanks to him, everything went very smoothly. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the courtyard hotel.

We had two family rooms for three nights. The rooms were very basic, nothing like five stars, and the amenities were limited for the hefty amount we paid for one night. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone expecting a five star experience. To me, it’s a four star hotel. Room service and cleaning were very poor, and they often didn’t come when called. The drainage was also a problem: the shower cabins had no proper drainage, so one person showering could flood the whole room. Breakfast was limited, with only basic coffee that couldn’t be customized. Since guests come from different countries, customizable coffee and teas would be useful, and the lack of options for other cuisines was a drawback.

Everything was within walking distance for us, so we only took a taxi to and from the airport. The location is very central, with a 24/7 supermarket right next door. Staff were polite and friendly, especially the reception guys who checked us in. I’ve forgotten his name, but he was there on April 21 in the evening, smiling and offering help with getting around the city and finding restaurants. The windows and beautiful drapes gave the rooms a lovely feel, though the shower water pressure was a bit low. Breakfast was included and had plenty to choose from, but it might feel repetitive if you stay longer. It’s a great place to stay for the money.

Our flight was delayed, so we needed more time after our one-night stay with colleagues. Ms Laman at the front desk was very kind, and manager Mr Shamhal called me in my room to extend our checkout. I'm a Bonvoy member, and no hotel had offered me this before. I'd definitely recommend this place to travelers coming to Baku.

I was really happy with my choice for the first night of my January 2026 ski trip stopover in Baku. As a Marriott Bonvoy Elite member, I got a room upgrade with a great city view, and the staff were welcoming and spoke excellent English. One extra tip: there's a family-run Donner shop just a few minutes away on foot. Best Donner I've ever had ☺️
