Breakfast was repetitive and inedible, and the bathroom had mold everywhere with barely any shower pressure. The chairs had cigarette burns, and the old outlets didn’t work properly. At check-in, the advertised rooms weren’t available. Our room had no balcony, and its window wouldn’t close properly. With honking cars outside practically 24/7 and no soundproofing, it was hard to get peace. The reception staff were rude and dishonest. We didn’t enjoy the stay and won’t come back. Don’t be fooled by the good reviews.

Mr Shaheryar at reception was always ready to help with day trips, travel advice, and exchanging money. Housekeeping and the rest of the staff were helpful too, and the hospitality was phenomenal. The rooms were spacious, neat and clean, with an open view. The washrooms were clean and had hot water and toiletries. It was a wonderful stay and good value for money. Definitely worth it.

The staff were so polite and welcoming, and really helpful. It was a clean, lovely hotel at a reasonable price.

Breakfast was modest, more like snacks than a full meal, though fair for the price. The furniture feels old-fashioned, but the cleanliness was acceptable. There aren’t major amenities or facilities, yet it’s quiet and good value. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially Mr. Shahrayar, who went out of his way for us. The location worked well too, about 15 to 20 minutes from the Old City, with plenty of restaurants and bakery shops close by. A decent budget stay in Baku if you want somewhere quiet and well placed.
