We were happy with the breakfast options, and the staff were great in general. A special thanks to Mrs. Ilham from HK for being so kind and helpful. The hotel is right in the center of Nizami Street, and although the rooms are small, they’re clean. The shower leaked onto the floor, though, so it needs maintenance.
2/10
The room was too small, the breakfast wasn’t good, and the customer service was poor. At checkout, staff accused me of using the minibar even though we hadn’t touched it. When I checked in, I’d seen another guest arguing with reception over the same issue. They said most customers are “layers.” It was a very unprofessional way to treat guests.
6/10
The breakfast was below average. The hotel itself was clean and in an excellent location, worth 2 stars for that. The staff were nice and helpful, so I’d give them 1 star.
10/10
It’s in the heart of the city and was an excellent hotel. One small map detail: Google Maps lists it as Midway hotel, rather than Grand Midway hotel.
10/10
The duty manager and staff were friendly. It’s in a great spot, right by Nizami Street and Fountain Square. I’d highly recommend it.
