The room was generally tidy, and the team was nice. Still, there were a few problems: a strong smell in the wardrobe, some mold in the bathroom, and cups and glasses that weren't very clean. The location was good. I couldn't eat breakfast there because the smoke smell was overwhelming. I'm usually quite tolerant of smoke, but I went elsewhere to eat. The food looked good and there seemed to be plenty of it.

We found the price reasonable for what we got, and I'd consider staying here again. The staff were helpful, the rooms were roomy, and the linens and towels were clean and good quality. Housekeeping came daily. Our beds were comfortable, though the mattresses felt a little firm. There was also an iron guests could use in the shared area. The location is right in the center, near Fountain Square, the promenade street, the waterfront, and other sights. Breakfast was basic, but a very pleasant kitchen staff member would make scrambled eggs if asked. We got one welcome bottle of water, with no more refills. At times the bathroom smelled of sewage. There's no elevator and the stairs are steep, which wasn't an issue for us but might be for some. Check-in got confusing when we were told our Booking.com reservation had been canceled, but that everything was still fine. The actual cancellation notice, initiated by the hotel, arrived the next day. The stay wasn't perfect, but nothing else was a major problem.

We stayed a week as a family, using one single room and one double. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful, and the price felt well worth it. Our rooms were on a quiet dead-end street, with little traffic beyond cars parked by the hotels. The sea boardwalk, walking street, shops, restaurants, and old city were all close by. The one thing that kept this from a full five for me was the cigarette smell at breakfast. Smoking is allowed in the restaurant in the evening, so by morning it was very smoky. They tried airing it out and using air fresheners, which helped a bit, but I wish smoking wasn't allowed there.

Good value for the price. The location is right near the main street and the seaside, in the middle of the attractions. Breakfast was good, and the staff answered our questions and took care of what we needed. The room's air conditioning wasn't working properly when we arrived and made a lot of noise. They fixed it within an hour and offered a complimentary discount, which showed a thoughtful attitude toward customers. There were no baby cotton.

The hotel's on Nizami Street, which is a good location, but our two-night stay was a poor experience. Rooms are small and dimly lit, on the second or third floor, and there's no elevator. The air conditioning worked well. Breakfast choices were limited but acceptable. At check-in, the man at the desk first insisted on cash instead of a card. He asked for our phone to enter the Wi-Fi password, then opened Booking.com on it and canceled one of our three room reservations. When he tried to cancel more, we got suspicious and took the phone back. He then tried to give us a single bed instead of a double, saying we hadn't booked the third room. We later found out one room really had been canceled and got an email from Booking.com confirming it, along with a cancellation fee. When we confronted him, he called the hotel manager or owner. The owner admitted they often cancel bookings to avoid Booking.com's commission, apologized for the employee, and offered the rooms without the cancellation charge if we canceled the other two rooms ourselves. We refused to cancel the rest. The fee was eventually waived, but the conduct was completely unethical. The hotel later canceled all our bookings from its own end.
