Garabagh Resort & Spa Naftalan

We came to the resort for its medical treatment services, which don’t cost extra, but everything was full. We had to wait 1-2 hours for each service, spending most of the day waiting and sometimes missing lunch. The staff, especially at the medical services desk, were very rude. Temerlan wasn’t helpful and even shouted at my mom when she asked him for help. The front desk staff weren’t as friendly as they should be either. I highly recommend not staying here if you’re coming for treatment.

The spa and Naftalan oil bath were the highlights for me. The room was spacious and luxurious, and the service was superb. Nobody was fluent in English, but everyone was nice and did their best to help. The traditional food was so-so. The place went beyond what I expected.

I couldn’t get a good night’s sleep because the noise was intolerable. The hotel’s maintenance also wasn’t up to par, and the overall atmosphere didn’t feel relaxing. I was extremely disappointed with my stay, and hope this feedback helps improve things for future guests.

It was lovely to see everyone again. This was my second visit, and I had another amazing stay. The food was delicious, the spa treatments were up to standard, and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Special thanks to Tagi, Vladimir and Rustam at reception, and to Kamran for helping me during my stay. Even with the outdoor restaurant and pool closed, there were lots of things to do inside: live music, board games, a cinema, a bar, and more. The disco with DJ Niko was fun and lively. The hotel grounds are well looked after, peaceful, and quiet, so they’re nice for a walk if you want to enjoy the weather. I’ll miss this place.
