Holiday Inn Resort Bandarban

I stayed with my family at Kewkaradong Cottage and had a pleasant time. The room was spacious, neat, and clean, with good cooling. I liked the bamboo and wood decor, which gave it a cozy, natural feel. The washroom worked and was clean, though it could be improved a little. From the small balcony you could see a bit of the lake, but the outdoor AC panel really shouldn’t be placed there. There’s a large lake-view restaurant beside the cottage, and both the food and atmosphere were very good. The resort also has a seminar room for official meetings or training. It’s eco-friendly and peaceful. The location is handy too, right by the main road opposite Meghla Tourist Spot. If you get to Bandarban before check-in, you can leave your bags at reception and go to Meghla. My ratings: environment 4/5, room 3.5/5, location 5/5, food 4/5, service 4/5.

Mr. Kefayet Ullah at reception deserves a mention. He was professional, polite, and very helpful, and his hospitality really improved our stay. I stayed in Chandrima Cottage at Holiday Inn Resort, Bandarban. The resort is old, but it felt calm, close to nature, and well maintained. The room was clean, comfortable, and peaceful, just right for a relaxing break.

The room and washroom looked bigger in the pictures than they really are, so keep that in mind before booking. The restaurant has limited options and is expensive, which can be tough for budget travelers. There’s a poster about tokhok (Tokay gecko) on the toilets as part of the eco-friendly approach, and it might scare some guests. Since the resort is outside the city, there are safety, security, and food concerns. It’s good overall, but the room rate doesn’t feel worth it and should be lower.

The staff were polite, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. Food was good and reasonably priced, and the clean, spacious rooms were comfortable and had great views. Holiday Inn Resort, Bandarban is surrounded by hills and nature, with an amazing location for a peaceful getaway. I had a relaxing, memorable stay and highly recommend it for family trips or anyone wanting to enjoy Bandarban in comfort.
