Sikder Resort and Villas Kuakata

The staff were professional and well behaved, and the landscaped grounds have greenery, chairs, and tables tucked into little spots. Sitting outside felt peaceful. Our room was huge, and the kids loved the jacuzzi in winter. They had plenty of room to run and play, plus a couple of swings, so they never got bored. There's no direct beach view, and it takes about 7-10 minutes by van to reach zero point. But a quieter beach is accessible from the resort just in front, a 5-7 minute walk from the gate. I actually preferred it to zero point because it was more peaceful. It's very expensive, starting at 13k a night, and we had to book the 16k room, but I don't regret it. The buffet breakfast was disappointing for that price, with too little variety, and the bread and pastries didn't seem fresh. The rooms also lack hair dryers, lockers, and prayer mats. I hope they add those essentials.

Alhamdulillah, Sikder Resort & Villas is a lovely place in Kuakata, with a relaxing atmosphere, modern facilities, and a bit of luxury. The private villa pools were clean, spacious, and great for a dip, and the common pool was nice too. Food was good, with a range of choices. The letdown was the broken, dirty bathroom and changing room by the common pool. Aside from that issue, it's a wonderful place to stay, especially if private pools and good food matter to you.

I lost my ring in the pool during my stay. After I checked out, I contacted the hotel, and they took the matter seriously, found it, and returned it to me. I really appreciated that. The staff were kind and professional, and the hotel felt safe. Their honesty and care meant a lot to me. Highly recommended.

The rooms are cozy, but not fully soundproof. We could hear music from another room, even though the rooms aren't connected, and the balcony has no privacy, which felt awkward. Food was good during our two-night stay. The resort is still incomplete, though it has a large area, nice villas, and a pool. There aren't any shops nearby, so you'll need a 5-7 minute auto ride to get chips or chocolate.
