Divine Eco Resort

I had to cancel my reservation and lose the non-refundable amount because of the room reservation. The rooms and toilets were dirty, and maintenance was lacking. This is a totally 3rd class resort. It’s much better to stay at the Sea Palace Hotel.

I didn’t stay at the resort, but the restaurant visit was horrible. The live music was enjoyable; the staff, though, were rude and mannerless. They first tried to charge me 300 taka instead of 200 for a double-scoop ice cream, and I had to firmly dispute it. Then a staff member wouldn’t let us use the front exit because we weren’t resort guests. It turned into an extremely hostile confrontation.

Dinner was a highlight, with live music and lovely lighting creating a warm feel. The BBQ fish was fresh and flavorful, and the complimentary breakfast buffet had a satisfying variety. Right beside the beach, Divine Eco Resort also has a peaceful atmosphere away from the crowd. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the staff were polite, responsive, and attentive throughout. It’s a quiet place that works well for families or anyone wanting a calm retreat by the sea. My stay was wonderful from start to finish.

We had two rooms, and one smelled so bad that after the awful lunch we politely asked them to clean it. They only gave us a room freshener. At lunch, they served cold, stale rice, then insisted it was freshly cooked when we asked for a replacement. The woman in the cafeteria/restaurant section wearing a hijab was very impolite and mannerless. She billed us for much more than we ordered and received. When I pointed out the price mistake, she shouted and talked nonsense. Fortunately, the manager arrived and sorted it out quickly.
