Ambassador Hotel

Our room was much smaller than the photo suggested and had no terrace, even though the description said it would. We’d booked online for three large double beds, but got two, plus a single mattress made of what seemed like a cement block. When we raised it, the staff took no responsibility and blamed the website. I left very disappointed. I’d tell people to save themselves the hassle and book somewhere else. Foreigner from Canada.

The service was extremely poor, and we didn't get the complimentary breakfast included in our booking. Water was leaking into the room, and the AC barely worked. I strongly wouldn't recommend this hotel.

At 4500 BDT, room 603 wasn't worth the price for my one-night stay. The room looked dated, smelled strongly of burned cigarettes or mosquito coil, and the window wouldn't open. The bed was very hard. The slippers provided had already been used, and there were only two empty cups, with no tea or coffee setup. For airport pickup 🛻, you have to call and then wait. Not recommended.

I waited two hours for a simple roti and bhaji. Breakfast was just two slices of bread and a banana, and after waiting 30 minutes I had to go collect it myself. They didn't seem to care that I had a flight to catch with my elderly mother. Awful place and awful service.
