We booked through an online travel site, and check-in was smooth. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the rooms were a good size, and the location worked well for us because it was near my in-laws’ home. The breakfast had a large, good selection of local and international dishes. One refrigerator didn’t work, and the AC stopped on the second night, but they fixed it. Checking out at 7am for our flight was a terrible end to an otherwise pleasant stay. The person at the desk couldn’t check us out, so we waited five minutes for someone else. After we paid for extras, he asked us to wait while he checked whether the travel site had paid. He spent at least 10 minutes reading through lots of pages, even though I knew the site had charged me. We finally left because we needed to catch our flight.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and room service prompt. Staff were polite and helpful, and I enjoyed the food and the decent range at breakfast. I was disappointed that there was no welcome drink at check-in. For a 4-star hotel, I’d expect that small gesture to help make a good first impression. With a little more care for details like this, the guest experience could be stronger.

I stayed at Hotel Bengal Canary Park from 30 October 2025 until the morning of 16 November 2025, and it was a comfortable, pleasant stay overall. I’d happily have rated it 5/5, but one front-office staff experience brought my rating down to 4/5. I hope things improve before my next visit in 2026. Most of the team were warm, friendly, and helpful. My room was spotless every day, thanks to excellent cleaning, and the restaurant team were consistently polite. I also appreciated the hotel’s warm atmosphere. Mohammod Dalim (Assistant Manager) was supportive, respectful, and professional. GM Biswajit Saha was attentive and responsive to guest concerns, and Md Ruku Mia was my favourite room cleaner, looking after my room daily with care and consistency. One evening front-office staff member, Mithun Mondol, made me extremely uncomfortable several times. He was cold, unfriendly, and dismissive, wouldn’t make eye contact even when I spoke directly to him, and I had to repeat myself to get a response. He also listened to music on headphones while serving customers, which felt completely unprofessional. I don’t know why he acted that way, but I’ve already told the GM. I strongly believe he needs proper customer service training to meet the hotel’s standards.

I spent five days at Hotel Bengal Canary Park and really enjoyed the stay. The room stayed clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout. Staff were attentive, friendly, and ready to help, and there was a delicious range of food each day. The rate was very budget-friendly for what I got, so it was excellent value. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
