Lake Wood Residency

Quiet place, but the service feels out of date.

Tasteful decor gives the restaurant a comfortable, stylish feel, with a nice mix of modern sophistication and warm hospitality. It works for a romantic dinner or a celebration, and the atmosphere adds to the meal.

I spent a week at Lakewood Residency and found the room spacious, clean, and comfortable, with air conditioning, a good bed, and VIP room service. The staff were friendly and helpful, making sure I had what I needed. Breakfast had plenty of variety and was delicious, and the free airport shuttle was very convenient. I was impressed by the service and comfort, and would recommend it to anyone after a luxury hotel in Dhaka. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at.

Guests have praised Lakewood Residency in Gulshan-1 for its calm setting, comfortable rooms, attentive staff, and restaurant food. One reviewer described Md Sujan Mazumder’s impression as “timeless elegance,” with a warm atmosphere and tasteful rooms. Breakfast has been called delicious and varied, and the Club Lounge was also praised for its good food. There are some reported drawbacks. Guests have raised cleanliness concerns, including insects in rooms and dirty bathrooms. Tahmeed reported large insects, including bed bugs, and an extremely dirty toilet. Some amenities may be inconsistent: one guest said the TV didn’t work and had no channels, while another found the Wi-Fi very good for IP phone calls. Experiences seem to vary, especially around cleanliness and amenities, though ambiance, service, and dining have received positive comments.
