Sarina Hotel

Sarina has a rooftop pool, gym, sauna, spa and steam room, plus a bar, several restaurants and buffet with local, continental, Thai and Mexican food. The hotel also has wedding and banquet halls and an airport shuttle. Rooms and suites are clean and well furnished, and breakfast is included and good. One of Dhaka’s best five-star hotels, with top-category rooms and very good service.

The staff were attentive and professional, and their hospitality made the whole stay feel premium. The food didn’t reach that standard for me. The taste was below average and the menu felt ordinary. For luxury dining, I expected more distinctive, refined or signature dishes.

The staff’s helpful, supportive hospitality was the best part of my stay at Hotel Sarina Dhaka. I was there from 5-7 April, and although check-in was delayed because of an Agoda booking issue, they got it sorted. It was otherwise pleasant, though some amenities feel dated and would benefit from renovation.

The breakfast spread was wide, and dinner at Amrit was tasty. My room was spacious, neat and clean, with the room and toilet cleaned and the bed made every day. Everyone from the bell boy and security to the front desk and travel coordinator was courteous and supportive. They looked after everything from arrival through departure. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Dhaka, very near the airport.
