Jatra Flagship Sylhet City Centre

I spent two weeks here and it suited my needs really well. The service was thoughtful and tailored, and the location made it easy to get to Sylhet town and the nearby villages. The AC was very effective, which I needed during the heatwave, and I kept the room and bathroom clean. Breakfast was just right. The TV also had live UK football, a nice extra.

We had a big balcony off the room, and the room itself was excellent, with the feel of a five-star hotel. Apurba bhai at reception was helpful with everything we needed. I stayed two nights and loved it. The residential area felt safe and was quiet, while everything was nearby. For this kind of place, I don’t think there’s a better deal in Sylhet. I’d definitely come back.

The rooms were calm and nice, but the management and staff ruined the stay. The place was severely understaffed. Mr Apurbo was the only person working, and we waited half an hour on the staircase before he let us into reception. He didn’t meet his responsibilities, tried to eavesdrop about our previous stay, and then harassed us over their own documentation and confirmation mistake. Horrible experience.

I’m writing for my dad, who stayed here and really enjoyed it. He said the rooms were clean and the hospitality excellent, with service at a high standard. Apurbo and his assistant were especially polite and helpful. He’d recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Sylhet.
