Cottage 33 Westhoek

There’s a swing and plenty of games for both inside and outside, so there’s something for young and old. Cottage 33 is in a beautiful spot, with a lovely garden and a cozy interior. The house was tidy and beautiful, and Katja gave us a warm welcome when we arrived for the Whitsun weekend. Highly recommended! Hannah

We were a group of friends in our 50s and up, and Cottage 33 felt like a warm home for our weekend. The garden has several lovely spots to sit, and inside the house was spotless and modern while still keeping its cozy, authentic character. Thanks so much for welcoming us so warmly.

There was plenty to keep us busy nearby, from walks and bike rides to day trips to a brewery and Jules Destrooper. Back at Cottage 33, the kids could play safely in the garden, including on the tree swing, while we enjoyed the quiet. In the evenings we sat by the fire as they played. We stayed as four adults and four children, and there was enough room both indoors and out. The cottage has a charming, stylish look and a warm atmosphere. It’s well equipped too, from kitchen utensils to board games, and the rooms are nicely laid out. A lovely place for a family or group, and we’d happily come back.

One unexpected extra was the relaxing spot behind the shed, where we could watch beautiful sunsets. The garden has lovely places to sit, and there’s even a handcart to move luggage from the car to the house. Inside, the beds were made up for us and the towels were fluffy. The kitchenware was plentiful and good quality. The house had been renovated beautifully, was impeccably maintained, and had some lovely personal touches. We had a wonderful long weekend and would gladly repeat it. We were also welcomed personally.
