Getting to the harbour or city centre by tram was easy, and the location was good. But the main street outside was noisy through the closed window, and it was hard to fall asleep until things quieted down. The hotel itself was nice and had been renovated a few years ago. Breakfast was standard but good quality. My room was very small because the other rooms were occupied during my stay, so I had little room to move around with all my luggage. The room and bathroom were clean, though there were piles of sand in a few corners by the bed, as if the floor wasn’t always vacuumed fully. The door also let corridor noise through, so when drunk people went back to their rooms, it felt like they were right there with me.

The rooms were basic but decent, and the pool table was a nice extra. The hotel isn’t in a picturesque spot. No kettle in the room.

For the price, this hotel is a winner, and we had a nice stay. The rooms were clean, the bedding was good, and staff were friendly. It’s a nice but basic place with a few drawbacks: the bathrooms could use an update, the Wi-Fi is extremely slow, and breakfast is adequate but poorly prepared. The bread was pale and hardly baked, and the sausages and egg were tasteless.

10/10
The staff were very kind and welcoming, and the place was clean and good value. It’s not in the fanciest part of Antwerp, but if you have a car and want a quiet spot fairly close to the city centre, it’s a good option. The international breakfast was good too.

6/10
It’s handy for public transport and quiet at night, with effective air conditioning, a comfortable bed and very friendly staff. The breakfast buffet had a good variety, though the quality was only average. For what it is, especially for a single night, it felt really overpriced. My bin hadn’t been emptied when I arrived, there was air in the sink, and the duvet was so small for the single bed that it barely covered me. It’s fine for a short, quiet and convenient stay, but poor value for the price.
