The room was lovely and comfortable, and there were so many wonderful animals around. We felt completely at home and welcome the whole time. We’d be very happy to stay with Stefan and his family again.

We came back to 'T solveldje for a second visit, and it was just as lovely as the first. The hosts welcomed us into their home and garden, and the rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. There’s a hot shower, and the garden is beautiful too. We especially enjoyed seeing the owls, rabbits, dogs, cat and fish. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and varied, with eggs and bacon cooked when we wanted them. A lovely little place.

After confirming my booking through booking.com, the owner and I discussed the room details both before and after the reservation. Then, just a day after confirmation, I was told the room wasn’t available and asked to cancel it myself. Someone clearly made a mistake here.

I’ll remember Stefan and Lisbeth’s hospitality for a long time. They got up before 6 a.m. to make us breakfast, saying, “No one leaves that place without breakfast.” Their care for the guests and every part of the property felt sincere. It’s encouraging to come across such kindness these days. Thank you.
