Lady Jane Bed & Breakfast

Hugo was one of the best people we could have met: warm, witty, and always ready to help. The atmosphere is unusual and makes you feel like you’ve stepped into another century. You can walk around Bruges from this perfectly located place. Breakfast is simple but thoughtful, brought warm to your door early in the morning by Hugo himself. There’s also a free parking space if you’re driving. I stayed with my boyfriend, and it felt ideal for couples. I’d recommend it for a cozy, memorable stay. Thanks for everything, Hugo, you were the best!

Hugo is a special host. He welcomes you, serves breakfast, answers questions, and even has a few bikes guests can borrow. When we set off for a long ride to the coast, he escorted us out of the city by bike. Lady Jane B and B is in a terrific location, and the building is clean and comfortable, with a healthy feel and such a friendly atmosphere. Our stay made our trip to Bruge really special.

We spent a whole week in that beautiful city, and every minute was worth it. The African room was lovely. Hugo was a great host, so friendly and helpful, and shared warmth and plenty of advice. I may well return to Lady Jane :)

Hugo was very kind and even carried our bags from the parking area up two flights of stairs. We enjoyed a steady supply of delicious chocolate milk and orange juice every day. He also put together a file with names and addresses of good restaurants within walking distance, plus suggestions for things to do. Our room was cleaned daily, and we had a nice view of Brugge from it. It’s an affordable, comfortable place to stay, and I’d definitely recommend it.
