The breakfast was the standout. Anne always seemed to choose perfect fruit, and there were lots of lovely extra touches. The breakfasts at our other hotels paled by comparison. There’s also a handy honor bar and a mini fridge in the room. Anne was friendly and helpful, with great suggestions for exploring places off the beaten path. Anna's B & B is a great base for exploring Bruges. Our bright, spacious room looked out at the church, in a charming, quiet part of town. That was a welcome change, since the city centre can get pretty congested.

Anne was really friendly. After check-in, she talked us through the best walking tours. We had a lovely stay at Anna's B&B just after Christmas, and the breakfast was generous and perfect, with lots of vegan choices. The room was very clean and even had a bathtub. There wasn’t a door between the bedroom and bathroom, though there was a small separate toilet in the hall. The house isn’t very well soundproofed, so light sleepers might find that difficult. It’s on a very calm street, only five to ten minutes from the centre of Bruges. We left the car at the car park on Stalijzerstraat, about a 10-minute walk away. We’ll definitely come back.

The breakfast was excellent, generous, and healthy, and we were more than satisfied with what we got for the money. The room was spacious and airy, facing St Anna church, in a quiet spot just a few minutes’ walk from Brugge's oldest pub. The bathroom was a good size and very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The spiral stairs are steep and narrow, so even cabin-size bags were awkward to carry up and down. You have to watch your step. The Wi-Fi could use some tuning too. Whenever I checked with a Wi-Fi analyzer, the signal strength and quality were poor.
